Itinerary and Highlights

In rare and unpredictable event the itinerary schedule may change. Notwithstanding that  all the booked activities will be provided.

Day 1

Arrival in Florence and accommodation. Welcome Dinner.

Day 2

A Full Immersion in Florence discovering its beauties. In the late afternoon we move to our accommodation in the middle of the Chianti’s hills.

Day 3

Visit San Gimignano and surroundings, You will have a wine tasting in a nice farm close to the town. You will have some free time in San Gimignano to enjoy the town and little shops, then we visit Certaldo, another wonderful medieval town and back in San Giminiano to enjoy dinner in a delicious Restaurant

Day 4

Wine tastings and visit of different wineries around the Chianti little towns, You will visit an artisan shop and learn how pasta is made. Before dinner visit a famous butcher’s shop and then enjoy a delicious meal with typical and local dishes in a little fancy restaurant.

Day 5

Truffle hunting and tasting visit to Castellina in Chianti and surroundings. Time to cook. All participants are going to enjoy a cooking class helping to cook and learning how fresh made pasta is prepared. In the afternoon a small farm visit and cheese tasting of the best quality Pecorino cheese. You are free to choose where to have your dinner in the nice restaurants close to our accommodation.

 

Day 6

A day in Siena

You will enjoy the culture of this wonderful city thanks to the help of our tour guide. You are free to have your light lunch “ getting lost” on the magic roads of Siena. In the afternoon, you taste some ancient recipes of Panforte, very typical bakery product.

Dinner in a wonderful traditional Restaurant.

Day 7

Visit a famous Castle of the area and enjoy the wine tasting and light lunch in that location. We will visit a very nice town of Greve in Chianti where you can spend some time discovering the old and typical shops. Another wine tasting in a fancy winery and for dinner you are free to choose one of the town’s restaurant.

 

Day 8

Visit Val D’Orcia and surroundings in Tuscany, where we will spend time photographing the famous hills lined with adorable cypress trees, and visit the most beautiful medieval town, Montepulciano, producer of the world famous wine of the same name.

 

Day 9

After visiting a Medieval Castle, we will be tasting the wines and appetizers with  Salumi, ham of Cinta Senese a protected pork species.

Dinner will be prepared by our chef he will let you taste typical Tuscan recipes, explaining to you the secret of his cuisine.

Day 10

After breakfast we check out and return to Florence, this is the end of this tour.
